New Chaos Space Marines Battleforce Sets (First Look)

Over the past few years JOYTOY has been absolutely killing it with their Warhammer 40K action figures. In August 2023, they unveiled the first of several new figures in their Horus Hersey line, a selection of high-end 1:8 scale figures that tie into the chaotic events back during the formative 31st century.
Now, JOYTOY has just unveiled an all-new Horus Hersey Warhammer 40K figure in the form of Sigismund, First Captain of the lmperial Fists, which is available now for pre-order.
So just how does the good captain stack up against his fellow JOYTOY Fists? Below, we break out all the details.
FIGURE SPECS
The new First Captain Sigismund figure captures a pivotal era of the Horus Hersey, and features the iconic yellow and below color scheme of the Imperial Fists. Like all JOYTOY figures it’s highly detailed and contains the following specs:
- 4.92 inches tall (12.5cm)
- Made of ABS and PVC
- 22 points of articulation
- Alternate pair of hands
- Attachable Power Pack
- Removable sword
- Figure base stand
WHO IS FIRST CAPTAIN SIGISMUND?
First Captain Sigismund is a legendary Imperial Fist who served during the Great Crusade and the Horus Heresy. Born on Terra and raised to the Legiones Astartes, he fought in countless battles, earning a reputation for his skill and bravery in combat.
His reputation eventually earned him the command of the Templars of the Legion’s 1st Company, which at the time was the most exalted position in the Imperial Fists and beneath only Rogal Dorn himself.
In the wake of Horus Hersey and the Second Founding in the early 31st Century, First Captain Sigismund would go on to become the first High Marshal of the newly formed Black Templars, further cementing his reputation among the legions of Adeptus Astartes.
HOW MUCH IS THE NEW JOYTOY FIGURE?
Currently, the figure retails for $69.99 USD and is available for pre-order on the JOYTOY website as well as Amazon. The figure itself will be released in March 2024.
WHAT OTHER IMPERIAL FISTS FIGURES ARE AVAILABLE?
First Captain Sigismund isn’t the only Imperial Fist to be released from JOYTOY. In fact, there are over a dozen Imperial Fists Warhammer 40K figures on the market, many of which tie in to the Horus Hersey line.
